At Camp Coconuts, we staff with an individual who is eager, excited, and dedicated to enrich our Campers’ experience.

Our Junior CIT program is designed to give mature 14 year old campers the opportunity to experience camp as a learning opportunity. Our program is offered throughout our camping season and requires at least a 2 week commitment.  The individual must have attended Camp Coconuts last year and be enrolled in the current year. This program requires the individual to be patient with children, and a desire to be in a leadership position. While no prior experience is necessary, our Junior CITs will work under the supervision of our coaches, assisting them with daily duties.

While no prior experience is necessary, it does require the individual to be patient with children and a desire to learn how to become a full-fledged Camp Coach. Junior Coach (JC) 16-18 year Olds

Being part of Camp Coconuts as a JC provides mature 16 and 18 year olds the ability to experience camp in a leadership role while under the guidance of our coaches. Our program is offered throughout our camping season and requires at least a 9 week commitment. Applicants should be responsible teens with experience in dealing with children. A friendly demeanor is essential in maintaining optimum camp experience.  JC's should have a ton of energy to keep up with lively campers.

Coach 18 years or Older

Coaches are the "mature goof balls", role models, support system, and big brother or big sister to campers.  Much of the summer's success lies with the relationship between coaches and campers. Our program is offered throughout the camping season, and requires at least a 9 week commitment. For most campers, great coaches means for a great summer! Coaches will rotate with their group throughout the day taking their campers through their jam packed schedule, assist during elective activities, and guide younger coaches. Our coaches work under the supervision of our directors, assisting them with daily duties.
